Theme/Academic Connection: Graphic Design & Creative Writing
For this contest, students create a conflict and subsequent resolution for a superhero they graphically design. A primary skill to be employed and emphasized with this task is creativity, creative writing and conflict resolution. Students are asked to develop their characters with some guiding questions in mind, such as, name, origin, powers, and appearance and are asked to write about a conflict and resolution for their superhero. Read each story and vote on your favorites!
